It takes a village to raise a child. In my husband and I's case, it took a village to create our two sons – Lucas (born October 2016) and Henry (born March 2019). Well, maybe not a village but a team of dedicated medical professionals whose one goal was to help my husband and I start a family. Call it a village. Call it a clan. Call it a network. Call it a tribe. Call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one. I learned that firsthand before my beautiful boys even entered this world, and I'm learning it day-after-day since.
